Some of our fun activities in June:

Jana, Jasher and Riley came for a visit.

Shae graduated from River Falls High School.

We took a quick trip to Des Moines, Iowa, to watch the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

May Activities

Mark and Tiffany with their family were here for Memorial Day.  The parade was just the right length:  American Legion with the flags, scout pack and troop, River Falls float and River Falls marching band.  Zach and Grace had fun in the water.  Cooper enjoyed dipping his hands in the water.

Shae finished his last season at Track at River Falls High School.  The 4x800 relay team on which he ran took 4th place in the Sectional Meet and missed going to state by less than 1.5 seconds.

Shae was ordained an Elder on May 13.  We were happy about that and happy that Mark could be there.

Wedding and a New Grandson

Becca married Sam Van Leuven on December 20, 2011, in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in Utah. We had a great time there, meeting Sam's family and enjoying the marriage and reception. We didn't spend much time as we wanted to be back in Wisconsin by Christmas, but we did make a quick trip up to Pocatello to see Jana and Dave and their new baby, Riley Quinn who was born the previous evening on December 19. What a nice week!

Summer Acitivities

We have had a fun time having children and grandchildren around this summer. Dave, Jana and Jasher have been staying with us for a couple of months while Dave works on a project for the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust. Mark and Tiffany with Zach, Grace and Cooper live close enough to see them regularly. Between picnics, running in the River Falls Days 10K (Shae and Tiffany), River Falls Days 1K (Zach), Pioneer Days 5K (Don, Becca and Kelli), and a quick visit to Utah (Don) we have had a great summer.

Mark and Tiffany had a baby boy on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. They are naming him Cooper Graham Taylor. Here are a couple of pictures of Kelli holding him. We are all delighted.
