Dan and Rachel Engaged

Dan and Rachel Bastian are planning a November 25, 2008, wedding in the Dallas, TX, temple. We are looking forward to being there for the wedding.

Shae's Cross Country Meets

Shae is just finishing his cross country meets. He ran in the Conference Meet last Saturday (Oct 18) in Menomonie and runs in the Sectional Meet next Saturday (Oct 25) in LaCrosse. He has done very well this year. At the Conference Meet he ran the 3.2 mile race in about 18 minutes, 50 seconds.

Trip to Idaho and Utah

We just returned from a quick trip to Idaho and Utah. We enjoyed visiting Mary Lynn and family in Pocatello; Mark, Tiff and Zach in Twin Falls; lots of family in Utah; and had a celebration for Jana and Dave at a park in Provo Canyon.

Jana's Wedding

Jana and Dave Dixon were married August 8, 2008. It was wonderful. Hope you enjoy the pictures from the day.

Kelli's Senior Pictures

On Wednesday, Becca took about 390 pictures of Kelli at different places around River Falls for her senior pictures. They have got the number down to about 30 potential ones. Here are a couple of possibilities.

Backyard is better, front yard is not

On Saturday we cleaned up the backyard, so it looks okay, but most of the fallen branches are now in the front. We need to figure out a way to get them to the city compost area.

Storm Blew through River Falls

A storm blew through River Falls this afternoon. Two trees from our neighbors' yards blew down and part landed in our backyard. The storm lasted only a few minutes but was quite a storm. Here is a picture of Kelli and Becca by the trees.

Shae's baseball season ended on Wednesday. He played shortstop and also pitched quite a bit.
